This is a great handmade item to make for Christmas, Housewarming, Retirement, etc. Just add a bottle of their favorite wine or alcohol and you have the perfect gift for someone.What is nice about this pattern is you have so many options on what you use to make it.  It only takes 3 Fat Quarters to make, one for the interior, one for the exterior and one for the contrast on the overlay and handle. You can also use Home Décor Fabric, Vinyl or Denim for the handle and overlay piece.  You can use fusible fleece or Insul-Bright to help keep the wine chilled.  There are additional instructions to make using a drop in lining method.  Choosing an option depends on your ability and the type of machine you have and if it can handle the bulk of all the layers.
